  1. Thanks. I have one very similar to yours (Size and everything); was wondering if I was doing something wrong since it got so hot every now and then. Then again, I just picked up some really good tasting/smelling stuff!

  3. when my smaller MM pipes get a bit to hot for hand comfort, I usually just grab them by the shank. I've been told it looks a little silly or in the words of a friend "girly", but since pipe smoking is such a manly endeavor I ignore him ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. The hardwood pipes from MM don't get too hot where it can't be held. And that's coming from someone who likes their smoke on the hotter side… Great tip!

  5. Good tip. I will add that the natural finish cobs don't seem to get as hot. I think it has more of a radiator effect and it keeps your fingers from getting too close to the hot part of the cob. My little eaton (Lady Godiva) is one of the coolest bowls I have and the smallest of all my pipes.

  6. Ozarknick! Wooo! Love those cobs. I even turned my stem upside down. Fits better in the mouth. And I watch the rain vid again bc it looks so refreshing!

  7. Hahahahhahhaa your hooded for life. You'll never be free of youtube. They own you forever. Seriously though, good to here from you again.

  8. Glad go see ya still making a video every now and then lol. Great advice, I have a Dr.Grabow bucko pipe I have to hold this way. I also use the temp of the bowl to train me on not smoking too fast. Don't know what tobacco you were smoking but I finally tried some Carter Hall, got to say it's all I've been smoking for 2 weeks now lol
