Quick Pipe Tobacco Reviews: Maple Street by Sutliff

A wonderful blend that smells like maple syrup with a touch of rum. One of my new favorites! I got my Missouri Meershaum Diplomat at aristocob.com.

  1. I was just gifted some Maple Street and checked out your video before I lit it up… Thanks for putting it out there! I had to laugh… I work in trucking too and I know what a pain in the a$$ delivering in Walmart can be.

Thanks again and stay safe out there!  -Tom

  2. I watched a few of your videos and see you like aromatics. The best I have tried have been Boswell blends. Try Christmas Cookie and Pipers pleasure. Enjoy!

  3. In your opinion, would a filter reduce the amount of nicotine entered in the body, or would it reduce the "risk" of getting addicted? Thank you again very much for your videos Mr. Muttnchop.

  4. Usually whenever I’ve gotten this nicotine sickness it tells me I’ve smoked a bit too hard. Slowing down the next time around has always seemed to help.

  5. I love a good beer cheese with pretzels but im also a Kentucky boy. Just got my first pipe started with a churchwarden I'm loving it so far just trying to find a good blend of tobacco

  6. On the subject of addiction. I smoke one or two hand rolled cigarettes every now and then (maybe once or twice a week). I usually stick to "organic" tobacco blends that contain no additives. But once I couldn't find any, so I bought a Vanilla flavored pack (Look Out, I think was the brand), and they were good. But they became increasingly addictive really fast. So yeah, everything's good to enjoy so long as it is done in moderation.

Also, when I was a teen I once smoked like three cigarettes with my cousin (she was older than me). And after that I felt really really sick. She told me eating a green apple would… And it did! So another "remedy" I guess.

  7. Suck a piece of crystallized ginger like a cough drop, it helps with nausea. You can buy crystallized ginger in the "Herbs & Spices" section of most decent grocery stores.

  8. hmm apparently I got Nicotine sickness the other day and just kept going….whoops! Now I know not to do that! Wasn't sure what was going on at the time.

  9. Do you live in Kentucky? There's a good German restaurant up in Newport called the Hofbrauhaus. They serve authentic German cuisine along with beer cheese and German beers. It's a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. I highly recommend the wiener schnitzel.

  10. I personally hate nicotine, which is obviously a paradox as I love smoking my pipe. Retro-haling will definitely increase nicotine absorption. If you get nauseous, eat a slice of raw ginger; it's nature's miracle!

  11. I'm doing an experiment right now. I smoked a full bowl every night for two weeks. I've since put my pipe away till today and while I want to pack a bowl, I don't feel a 'need' to. I've come to the conclusion that when smoked correctly, it's nearly impossible to get addicted to pipes.
